Paris Gerrard's art
talent emerged at an early age. Today, at the young age
of 18, she paints with a surprising degree of skill and
sophistication. Florals, landscapes and still lifes are
all represented as she experiments with new elements and
subjects in her own unique style.
While growing up in Hawaii, Paris attended a private
school that provided a strong emphasis in art training.
When she was 14, she studied pastels and sculpture with
the late Utah artist, Helen Wiscomb. She has continued
her studies under the tutelage of her mother, Jill Barton
and her grandmother, Dawna Barton, whose work is known
worldwide.
Paris’ career has encountered great success. In
addition to a rewarding one woman show, her art has also
been featured in many shows and auctions including Red
Butte Gardens’ “Evening in the Garden”,
Relics Gallery, and Patty Ashton’s Spring Art show
(which sold out all of Paris’ exhibited works).
